⚾ Step Up to the Plate: Rio Linda Little League Opening Day 2026!

The crack of the bat and the cheer of the crowd are returning to Rio Linda! TOMORROW, Saturday, March 7th, our community comes together to celebrate the Rio Linda Little League 2026 Opening Day Parade and Ceremony. It’s a day dedicated to our young athletes, local families, and the small-town spirit that makes Rio Linda special.

Here is everything you need to know to join the festivities:


🕒 Event Schedule

  • 9:00 AM: The Opening Day Parade kicks off, traveling down M Street.
  • 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM: Festivities continue at Babe Best Park.
  • Ceremony Highlights: Stick around for the official Opening Day Ceremonies, the announcement of the Parade Float Winners, and a special recognition of our 2025 All-Stars.

🎟️ Games, Raffles, and Spirit

The day is packed with more than just baseball! Residents can look forward to:

  • Fundraiser & 50/50 Raffles: Try your luck with various raffle prizes and a 50/50 draw to support the league.
  • Spirit Wear: Grab the latest Rio Linda Little League gear to show your support throughout the season.
  • Family Fun: There will be “lots of games” available for kids and families to enjoy between matchups.

🌭 Support Local: Vendors at the Park

Come hungry! A wide variety of local vendors and community organizations will be stationed at Babe Best Park offering food, treats, and unique crafts:
