2017 Sacramento Food Bank Thanksgiving Turkey Distribution

The Sacramento Food Bank will distribute turkeys or hams to families in need on Monday, November 20, 2017, starting at 8 am at 3333 Third Avenue in Sacramento.

Do not line up prior to 6 am. No over-night sleeping or loitering is allowed. To save time in line, arrive around 9 am. The distribution typically ends around 11 am or noon. One fresh or frozen turkey or ham and two bags of side items will be given to each family until items are gone. Each bag is filled with dry and canned foods for basic Thanksgiving dishes. Bring a photo ID. One set of meal items will be provided per household.

Boxes for carrying items will not be available, so please be prepared to carry up to 40 pounds and bring your own cart or tote bags.

Donations for fresh or frozen turkeys, hams, and other non-perishable holiday food will take place on Thursday, November 16, 2017, from 4:30 am until 7 pm. Click here for more information.
