52-pound Striper Hauled in from Sacramento River

There’s a photo getting a lot of attention over on Instagram right now, and it’s not a model or actress, or influencer.

It’s a 52-Pound Striped Bass taken from the Sacramento River earlier this month by angler Thomas Fitzpatrick.

Mr. Fitzpatrick (@thomas_fitzz on Instagram) posted his take on March 3rd.

On the Facebook group “Northern California Striped Bass Report“, Fitzpatrick says “very thankful for every ounce of the fight she put into the battle …. hopefully she gets to hunt the shallow riffles just the same as she did before we shook hands for a lot more years!”
