What a great event! Thunder in Depot Park is arguably the biggest event in Rio Linda all year long, and this year’s edition will take place on May 26th, 2012 at Depot Park. As always, it’s absolutely free!
There will be hot rods, rat rods, and custom cars on display, all built before 1976. Tummy’s will be out serving up coffee drinks, breakfast treats and snacks, and the Thunderbolts have promised Tri-tip sandwiches and Thunderdogs.
Hopefully we don’t get hit with another late spring storm as we did last year when it drizzled off and on all day long.
Once again the the Thunderbolts Car Club brings the show to Rio Linda, so thanks to them and thanks to everyone at the RLERPD and Chamber of Commerce for making it happen.
It truly is an annual hallmark event for our community.
