MILTONVALE, Kan. — James Noel “Jim” Beene, 74, lost his battle on earth and went home to the Lord on Wednesday, September 22, 2021. He passed away at home in Miltonvale surrounded by family.

He was a long-time resident of Rio Linda, California, where he met his wife Deborah and made many friends. Jim moved to Miltonvale to start a new life with his wife, Deborah, and her kids, which he claimed as his own.

He is preceded in death by his son, Jess Noel Beene, and his parents, Jess Marion Beene and Dolores Louise Beene.

He is survived by his wife Deborah of Miltonvale; sister, Donna Long of Rancho Mirage, Calif.; daughter, Chandra Wheeler of Virginia; stepdaughter, Christina Morris of Miltonvale; stepson, Donovan Meadows of Miltonvale; stepdaughter, Julie Meadows of Miltonvale; 17 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

The love he shared with all will keep his memory alive in our hearts forever.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at the First Baptist Church of Clay Center, 902 5th Street, Clay Center, KS 67432. 

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the church.
