Ruth was born 07/19/1960 in Flint, Michigan, and passed on 09/15/2023 in Sacramento, CA
Ruthie came to California at the tender age of 18. She lived & worked at several jobs in the beginning of putting down roots in California. She eventually landed in Rio Linda with many of her family members.
She made Rio Linda her home for the last twenty years of her life. She retired here just this year.
Ruth was a Bookkeeper for several people in the Rio Linda area and Rancho Cordova too. She had many loving friends.
Ruth never married but had adopted Niece’s and Nephew’s all over town. Ruth had a huge heart and did a lot of volunteering around the community. She was very compassionate and helped feed the homeless or provided clothing to them when she could.
Ruth loved family gatherings and wouldn’t miss one even when she was so sick. She was always up for a good card game. Ruthie earned her “Wing’s” for sure!! Ruth is survived by brothers Robert, Ronald, Richard & Rene and their families. Cousins Joseph Dodge, Judie Long, and Kathleen Dodge and their families.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday, October 8th, 2023 at 1pm. A potluck luncheon will follow.
