Placer County Spraying for Mosquitoes 7-4/5

The agricultural areas, rice fields, and marshes of West Placer County are scheduled for an aerial larvicide treatment on July 4th and 5th, 2024.

Treatments will occur during the daylight hours, most commonly in the early morning through the early afternoon.

The Sacramento-Yolo Mosquito and Vector Control District began aerial treatment for adult mosquitoes in the North Natomas yesterday.

Visit the Sacramento/Yolo Vector Control Spraying Update page for a complete list of scheduled treatments. For additional treatment questions and answers, please see the Spraying Frequently Asked Questions. Agricultural aerial treatments may be canceled if weather conditions or other issues prohibit scheduled treatment.
