The last Farmers’ Market of July turned out to be an amazing success, despite the 100+ degree heat. DJ Justin Time provided the beats, while 2014 KCRA A-List winner Drewski’s Hot Rod Kitchen and Happy Cow Ice Cream provided the eats. We didn’t have as much produce as we hoped, but we’re making a concerted effort to bring more local growers, farmers and gardeners each week.

No produce stickers were to be found. Anywhere.

In addition to the food trucks and entertainment, Tommy Hall brought out the Konnected Clothing Company stand, the Rio Linda Little League did sign-ups, and at least 14 other vendors had a very good night.

Come out next week, celebrate our rural, agricultural roots and discover a lot to like about Rio Linda. Give us an hour, and you’ll stay for two.
