Knights Fall Short Against Dixon Rams

Rio Linda, CA – The Rio Linda Knights suffered a tough 48-6 loss to the Dixon Rams on Friday night in the soaking rain at Dixon High School. This marks the third consecutive defeat for the Knights against their rivals.

Despite the loss, running back Jarae Liggion had a standout performance, rushing for 116 yards on just eight carries. This impressive feat set a new career-high for the talented back.

With this loss, the Knights’ record falls to 3-7 for the season. Dixon, on the other hand, improves to 5-5.

The Rams will next face off against the Oakmont Vikings on Friday night at 7:00 PM. Oakmont, who is currently on a five-game losing streak at home, will be eager to turn things around.

The Junior Varsity won 26-6.
