Rio Linda Knights Sports: Your Week’s Home & Away Action (Jan. 13-18)

Get ready for a jam-packed week of Rio Linda High School sports! Your Knights are competing all week, so come out and show your support! All games mentioned below involve Rio Linda High School teams.

Monday, Jan. 13: Soccer Showdown!

  • Girls Soccer: Cheer on our Lady Knights as they host El Camino! JV kicks off at 4:00 PM, followed by Varsity at 6:00 PM right here at home.
  • Boys Soccer: Let’s go, Knights! The boys take on El Camino on the road. JV starts at 4:00 PM, Varsity at 6:00 PM.

Tuesday, Jan. 14: Basketball Battles!

  • Girls Basketball: It’s a home court advantage for our girls as they face El Camino. JV tips off at 5:30 PM, Varsity at 7:00 PM. Don’t miss it!
  • Boys Basketball: The boys travel to El Camino. Freshmen play at 4:30 PM, JV at 6:00 PM, and Varsity at 7:30 PM.

Wednesday, Jan. 15: Wrestling & Soccer Midweek Madness!

  • Wrestling: Our undefeated wrestling team is on the road at Casa Roble! Catch the action starting at 5:00 PM. Let’s keep that winning streak alive!
  • Girls Soccer: Another home game for the Lady Knights! They’re taking on Natomas. JV at 4:00 PM, Varsity at 6:00 PM. The Freshmen team will be competing at Ripon at 4:30 PM.
  • Boys Soccer: The boys head to Natomas. JV at 4:00 PM, Varsity at 6:00 PM.

Friday, Jan. 17: Hoops, Soccer, and Wrestling – Oh My!

  • Wrestling: Our wrestlers are competing in the Mavericks Invite at Mesa Verde. Matches begin at 9:00 AM.
  • Girls Basketball: Support our Lady Knights as they host Sutter! JV at 5:30 PM, Varsity at 7:00 PM.
  • Boys Basketball: The boys are away at Sutter. Freshmen at 4:30 PM, JV at 6:00 PM, and Varsity at 7:30 PM.
  • Girls Soccer: The Freshmen girls face off against Antelope at home, 6:00 PM.

Saturday, Jan. 18: Weekend Wrestling Continues!

  • Wrestling: Day two of the Mavericks Invite at Mesa Verde. Action starts at 6:00 AM! Let’s go, Knights!
