Rio Linda Knights Gear Up for Busy Week of Athletics

This week, Rio Linda High School Knights are gearing up for an exciting week of athletic competitions! Here’s a quick rundown of the games happening from January 20th to January 25th:

Monday, January 20th

  • The Girls Soccer team will be taking on Woodland High School at home for their Varsity game at 6:00 PM. (JV game cancelled)
  • Boys Soccer will be traveling to Woodland High School for their JV game at 4:00 PM and Varsity game at 6:00 PM.

Tuesday, January 21st

  • The Boys Basketball team will be hosting Woodland High School for their Freshmen game at 4:30 PM, JV game at 6:00 PM, and Varsity game at 7:30 PM.
  • Girls Basketball will be playing Woodland High School away for their Varsity game at 7:00 PM. (JV game cancelled)

Wednesday, January 22nd

  • The Wrestling team will be wrestling against Woodland High School for the GEL Dual at 5:00 PM.
  • Girls Soccer will be facing Casa Roble High School away for their JV game at 4:00 PM and Varsity game at 6:00 PM.
  • Boys Soccer will be playing Casa Roble High School at home for their JV game at 4:00 PM and Varsity game at 6:00 PM.
  • There’s also a separate Girls Soccer Freshmen game against Antelope High School at 4:30 PM.

Friday, January 24th

  • The Girls Basketball team will be traveling to Destiny Christian for their Varsity game at 7:00 PM.
  • Boys Basketball Freshmen team will be playing away against Mesa Verde High School at 4:30 PM.

Saturday, January 25th

  • The Boys Soccer team will be participating in the Live Oak Tournament championship game (make up from earlier weather).
  • The Cheer team will be away at Oak Ridge for the CIF-SJS competition.
  • Girls Soccer Freshmen team will be playing against McClatchy High School at 10:30 AM.
