Hey, Rio Linda and Elverta neighbors! The Rio Linda Elverta Neighborhood Association is gearing up for our annual National Night Out event, and we’re calling on our amazing community to help make it the best one yet!
National Night Out is more than just a gathering; it’s a fantastic chance to strengthen our community bonds, foster positive relationships with law enforcement like Metro Fire, TRUSD Police, and the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department, and simply have a great time with your neighbors. It’s all about building a safer, more connected Rio Linda!
This year, we’re holding the event at the Rio Linda Library (the old Rio Linda Elementary School). To keep this a free and fun event for everyone, we’re relying on the generosity of our community. That’s where you come in!
We Need Your Help: Volunteers & Donations for Free Food!
We’re looking for volunteers and local organizations to help us provide and serve FREE food and drinks for all attendees. In past years, this has included crowd favorites like:
- Hot dogs
- Watermelon
- Bottled water & juice
- Popcorn
- …and other simple, delicious treats!
