Campuses across the district open their doors tomorrow, Tuesday, August 19, for the 2025-26 school year, and many will find significant improvements waiting for them.
The district has completed four major construction projects over the summer, reflecting its dedication to providing high-quality learning environments. These upgrades aim to enhance student growth and inspire school pride.
Here’s a look at the new additions:
- Madison Universal Transitional Kindergarten (UTK) and Kindergarten Complex: This new complex features three new classrooms, offering a great start for the district’s youngest learners.
- Highlands High School: A major beautification project has completely redesigned the school’s front entrance, creating a fresh, welcoming look.
- Rio Linda High School and Foothill High School: Both schools have received brand new stadium turf and track replacements, providing students with state-of-the-art athletic facilities.
Senior Square is also getting a facelift for the first time in decades, with the utmost respect being paid to the Michelle Montoya memorial.
