Rio Linda Under Water, December 12 2014

We got a good dousing this week, saturating Rio Linda and Elverta but leaving drought-stricken California hungry for more. Unofficially, Rio Linda got nearly 4 inches in 24 hours from a warm Pacific storm saturated with tropical moisture. Dry Creek crested above flood stage, and poured over its banks.

Thanks to ViAnn and Alyssa Todd for grabbing some pictures.
