The Sacramento Business Journal is reporting that the developer for the “Bell Avenue Commercial Center” hopes to start work as soon as late summer.

the 2.5-acre project at 1556 Bell Ave. will have a single, two-story, 16,965-square-foot commercial building, and two smaller buildings with drive-thru lanes for fast food applications.

The second story of the building will have about 4,200 square feet of office space, with retail on the ground floor.

The design firm, Milestone Associates of Yuba City, says that construction should take about a year once it gets started.

The proper address for the project is 1556 Bell Avenue in Sacramento.

The property site does have an existing single-family home that will be demolished.
