Break-In at Creekside Diner

Sometime between 2am-3am this morning, Thursday May 30th, someone put a crowbar to the doors on the Creekside diner at MarVal Plaza.

Owner Julia Beams-Draper says that the Sacramento County Sheriffs Department awakened her with a phone call at 3am to inform her of the crime.

Thieves made off with a gumball machine that has been at the diner for over 20 years.

Video of the activity is very clear, and has identifiable images of the two thieves.

If you have any information about this incident, or know of a very large gumball machine for sale, please call the Creekside Diner at 916-991-5141 or the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department at 916-874-5115.
