Carolyn C. Johnson (McDonald), June 17, 1949-August 3, 2023

Carolyn was born in Sacramento, California, and in lived in Elverta, California where she spent her childhood. She was a graduate of Rio Linda Senior High School Class of 1967 and owned a home with her husband in Rio Linda for many years while raising her family here.

Carolyn recently resided in Sacramento, California until she went to heaven at age 74 years old.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents William J. McDonald and Evelyn C. McDonald (Huff), also siblings Leonora D. Johnson, Evelyn P. McDonald, Mark McDonald, and Timothy McDonald, her husband Ronald Johnson, and their son Timothy Johnson.

Carolyn is survived by her siblings William McDonald, Steve McDonald, Greg McDonald, Jeff McDonald (Gloria), and Susan McDonald. Carolyn adored her surviving nephews and nieces and is now with her niece Stephanie safe with God.

Carolyn loved her family and is survived by her children Ronnie Johnson, Connie Keiper (Shane), David Johnson, and Gary Johnson. Carolyn is survived by her grandchildren who she loved with all her heart Mercedes (Jose), Bradley, Lucas, Annabel, Walter, Leah-Kristina, Dusty, Brandie, Taylor, and Kayla.

Carolyn was so proud of and loved her great-grandchild Evander.

Carolyn also loved with all of her heart her step-grandchildren and their children, Kelly (Alissa), Nick (Felicia), Casey, Hayden, Colton, Shane Jr, and Aiden.

Co-Chair for the Rio Linda Elverta Neighborhood Association, announcer for Rio Linda Knights Football, Rio Linda Christmas Light Parade, and Rio Linda Little League Parade, Original keeper of the Archway Lights, and outspoken advocate for the Rio Linda Elverta community.
