The California Highway Patrol has issued an advisory for motorists traveling near Gibson Ranch Park this weekend. Motorists should expect traffic delays due to the Monster Energy Aftershock Music Festival which could draw nearly 50,000 people over the weekend.
Traffic in the area of the park on Elverta Road will be affected between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. People travelling on Elverta Road, North Watt Avenue, Elkhorn Boulevard, 16th and 28th streets in Elverta, Baseline Road and Dyer Road should expect major delays.
Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes during the festival.
