Two weather respite locations are being activated in the region for respite from the wind for unhoused guests. Please see locations and dates below. As always, 2-1-1 and 211sacramento.org will have all the information available.

Pets are welcome at both locations.

  • North A Emergency Shelter, 1400 North A St: 5pm on Tuesday, 11/5 until 8am on Thursday, 11/7
  • Outreach and Engagement Center, 3615 Auburn Blvd: 3 pm Tuesday, 11/5 until 8am on Thursday, 11/7

Staff will continue to monitor weather notifications to assess the need for respite extensions.
