Fire Damages Structures in Rio Linda

As reported first on the RioLindaOnline Facebook page, A large fire ignited around 5pm on the 7300 block of Dry Creek Road, between Q and U streets.

The fire destroyed a barn and a trailer on the property, but were able to save the primary home and a secondary residence on the property. According to the Sacramento Bee, a classic Ford Model A car was destroyed in the barn. There were no injuries.

Monetary damages are estimated to be $55,000, according to the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District.
