From the archives: 1979 Rio Linda Falcons Football Program

The Rio Linda Falcons were a youth football program (Pop Warner) back in the late 70s and 80s. Many players and coaches who were in that program ended up in the high school program in the late 80s.

I was born in 1969, and graduated in 1987. I was just ten years old. This would be, I believe, from the first year I played organized football.

It’s not just the football and the players or cheerleaders that is the primary attraction here; Take a look at all the ads from local small businesses that only exist now in our memories.
