The Rio Linda/Elverta Historical Society is thrilled to announce the 30th Annual Farm & Tractor Days, a beloved local tradition returning to the Dry Creek Ranch House on May 16th and 17th, from 9 am to 4 pm.
This year’s event promises to be bigger and better than ever, offering a fantastic opportunity for families, history buffs, and tractor enthusiasts alike to experience the sights, sounds, and smells of a bygone era.
What to Expect:
- Vintage Tractors and Hit & Miss Engines: Marvel at the impressive collection of antique tractors and the rhythmic “putt-putt” of hit & miss engines, showcasing the evolution of farming technology.
- Tractor Parade & Swap Meet: Witness a parade of these magnificent machines and browse through the swap meet for unique treasures and parts.
- Farm Animals & Hay Rides: Bring the kids and enjoy close encounters with friendly farm animals and take a leisurely hay ride around the scenic grounds.
- Dry Creek Ranch House Museum Tours: Explore the historic Dry Creek Ranch House and learn about the pioneering families who shaped our community.
- Live Music & Local Vendors: Enjoy toe-tapping live music and support local artisans and businesses at the vendor booths.
- Education Day (Friday): School groups are especially welcome on Friday for an educational and engaging experience.
