It is indeed embarrassing – as is most of M St. This town has so much potential, but eyesores like this just legitimize its reputation. Sigh….
It’s a liquor store folks. Who you tryin to impress?
I think there’s a measure of pride that should be taken in one’s business. I think that posting a mish-mash of signs on the storefront is a misguided attempt at marketing that doesn’t really serve to attract anyone. I would think opening up the windows and being more concerned about the appearance of the building would attract more business… which is what they’re trying to do.
There’s a lot to be said for “Curb appeal”, just ask any real estate agent.
It doesn’t really help that drug addicts and homeless people hang out near that store either. That’s the real problem.
