James (Jim/Jimmy) Peter Yearsley, age 61, passed away Saturday, Jan. 15, 2022, at Kootenai Health in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

He was born May 4, 1960, in Boston, Mass., to Ruth Burrell Yearsley and James Yearsley. Jim grew up in Sacramento, Calif., and moved to Post Falls, Idaho, in 1994. Jim was a devoted Seventh Day Adventist who had a love for the Ten Commandments, studying the scripture and sharing his knowledge with others. Jim attended Rio Linda High school in California. His hobbies included working out at the gym, studying and training in martial arts, shooting pool, and playing golf. He worked in flooring and real estate and owned multiple businesses throughout his lifetime. He was hard working and always a provider.

Jim is survived by two ex-wives: Cathy Roslund and Cherie Yearsley; two brothers: John Yearsley and Paul Yearsley; eight children: Amanda, Danny, Penny, John, Jason, Noah, Cody, and Daylon; 14 grandchildren: Aubree, Sara, Raelynn, Jordin, Micah, Brooklynn, Amynn, Leythin, Kayden, Braeden and Kaylee, Stella, Oliver and Jeremiah; and great-grandchild, Koda.

He will be sincerely missed by family, friends, and all who knew him.

Fourth St., Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, with a viewing at 10 a.m. Jim will be laid to rest at Riverview Cemetery in Coeur d’Alene.
