Knights Fall to Casa Robles 45-14

The Rio Linda Knights football club has hit a rough patch in the schedule.

After winning 3 in a row versus Lincoln, Cordova, and Foothill, the Knights have lost the last three to Placer, Dixon, and Casa Roble.

This most recent game versus #8 ranked Casa Roble was the final home game of the season, and as is traditional, the Knights celebrated their graduating seniors, players, Cheerleaders, and band members all, at halftime.

The final three games of the season are definitely winnable, coming against a 3-4 Mesa Verde on Friday (who lost to Casa Roble 57-6 two weeks ago), 0-7 Woodland and 5-2 Pioneer.

Friday night’s game at Mesa Verde will be Mesa’s very first game on their brand-spankin’ new home field.
