Rio Linda, CA – The Rio Linda Knights continued their dominant run, defeating the Oakmont Vikings 19-7 in the first round of the playoffs. This victory extends their winning streak to eight games, a testament to their impressive form.

The Knights’ defense played a crucial role in the win, intercepting two passes courtesy of Angelisa George and Isabella Hernandez. George, in particular, has been a standout performer, recording five or more tackles in the last three games.

With this victory, Rio Linda improves to 15-6 on the season. Their next challenge will be against Sierra, a team currently riding a nine-game winning streak. The matchup is scheduled for Thursday, October 31st (Halloween) at 4:00 PM.
