Local Educator, Lolita Knepp, Passes Away

Elverta, CA – Lolita Kay Knepp, a beloved educator and longtime resident of Elverta, passed away peacefully on November 6, 2024, at the age of 68.

Born and raised in Mississippi, Knepp dedicated her life to education, serving as a teacher for 37 years. She was a cherished member of the Elverta community, known for her kind heart and unwavering commitment to her students.

Knepp is survived by her husband, Dan Knepp, her two daughters, Kayla and Tatiana, her mother, Gladys Nick of Sacramento, California, and her brother Doyle Nick of Redlands, California.

A memorial service is not currently planned.
