Lupe Y. Rodriguez, a cherished mother, sister, cousin, and friend to many in the community, passed away on March 25, 2025, at the age of 70. Born on December 12, 1954, Lupe filled her life with love for her family and friends.
She was the proud and devoted mother to Christina, Shannon, Kandis, and Justin. Lupe was preceded in death by her beloved son, Stephen “Bo” Rodriguez, in 2007. She shared a special, lifelong bond with her brother, Manuel ‘Butch’ Rodriguez.
Known for her warm heart and fierce spirit, Lupe deeply cherished her loved ones, including her beloved dog, Cookie. Her presence touched many lives within our community, and she will be profoundly missed by her children, family, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Family and friends are warmly invited to gather and celebrate Lupe’s life on Sunday, June 1st, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the American Legion Hall in Rio Linda, CA.
This celebration will be a potluck; guests are kindly encouraged to bring a dish to share. Please also bring your fondest memories and stories of Lupe to share as we honor her life together.
