Mar Val Plaza has SOLD. What’s Next?
FacebookXLinkedInEmail
Open for business

After many, many years of sitting vacant, and being a drag on our community’s economy and memory, Mar Val Plaza has finally sold and will soon be once again open for new business.

The sale recorded on March 1st. I spoke by phone today to the new owner, Steve Tresner.

Workmen are already in the property removing old equipment, signs, and detritus from the long period of dormancy. Soon, the entire property will be getting a refresh, some landscaping attention, a new coat of paint, and the parking lot will be sealed and striped.

Prospective tenants are already touring the property, including a local fitness center who is interested in the 80,000 square foot former supermarket. (Mr. Tresner chose not to name them at this time.) He has also had interest from a church, and an ice cream shop.

Mr. Tresner met with current tenants yesterday, who have been encouraged to stay and enjoy the facelift and added traffic the new businesses will bring.

The property should be ready to rent sometime during the summer of 2018.

Prospective tenants are asked to call Steve Moreno at Moreno Commercial Services at (916) 538-6766, or email him at steve@morenocommercial.com, or you can contact Mr. Tresner directly at 916-996-5065.
