New Arco AMPM Proposal for Elkhorn Blvd.

A Pre-Application meeting has been requested by Yolo County developers Robert and Indeveer Takhar to discuss the construction of an Arco AM/PM, car wash, and a quick-service restaurant on the northwest corner of Elkhorn Boulevard at Marysville Boulevard.

The proposed development is an ARCO am/pm of 2,900 square feet, six gasoline dispensers with twelve fueling positions and associated canopy, two underground storage tanks, a 24×60-foot carwash, and a 1,250 square foot Quick Serve Restaurant.

At this time it is unknown if this proposal is related to the previous proposal on the opposite side of the street, but we do know that the developers are different.

The convenience store would operate 24 hours a day and sell beer and wine.

This parcel is currently zoned AR-2 (Agricultural/Residential, 2 acres).

The Sacramento Department of Transportation estimates that this proposed use will add 1,556 vehicle trips on Marysville and Elkhorn Blvd.

The meeting has not yet been scheduled.
