Steven Ray Holt

Roseville, California – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Steven (Steve) Holt, age 69, on July 13, 2024, in Roseville, California.
Steve was born on April 30, 1955, in Taft, California, to Violet (Trefry) Holt and Buddy Holt. After Steve graduated from Rio Linda High School in 1973, he went on to build his own business as an interpreter for the deaf. He provided skilled, licensed interpreters across the Sacramento region. Steve was an avid 49rs fan and he loved gardening with his friend Dave and fishing with his brother-in-law Dan. Steve was a devoted husband and father and he was very proud of his wife and daughter. He loved being with his family which included his sister, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and all his many friends. Steve had a wry, witty sense of humor that will be greatly missed.
Steve is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Becky; his daughter, Colleen; his sister LaVerna (Holt) Schimpf; and many aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws. He was preceded in death by his mother and father.
A memorial service will be held at a future date.
