Perko’s to become Huckleberry’s

Perko’s Cafe Grill at Watt and Elverta Road in Antelope preparing to convert the location into a Huckleberry’s restaurant.

Today, Thursday, January 13, will be the last day for Perko’s, as the renovation is scheduled to begin on Friday morning.

Huckleberry’s serves only breakfast and lunch and closes at 3 p.m. This will make it easier to find employees to work those morning shifts.

There are three other Huckleberry’s restaurants already in the area, in Natomas, Roseville, and Elk Grove.

Huckleberry’s is described on the website as “SOUTHERN COOKIN’ WITH A CALIFORNIA TWIST!”

Reopening is set for March 21st.
