Remembering Local Lives Lost to Coronavirus

December 30, 2020

Have you lost a loved one to coronavirus? We invite you to share their stories.

Every day, Sacramento County and California officials announce the latest numbers of confirmed coronavirus cases and deaths. But behind those statistics are loved ones: grandparents, mothers and fathers, daughters and sons, neighbors and co-workers.

They are people who have lived, worked, or served in this community, and their contribution to our shared history should not be lost.

As we near the end of 2020, The Rio Linda Messenger is looking to memorialize those who have died from coronavirus complications in the Rio Linda/Elverta area or who have connections to our area. If you have lost someone, we invite you to share their story with us using the form below. You can also place an obituary here.
