RIO LINDA, CA – Families in Rio Linda will have access to free meals for children and teens all summer long through programs offered by both the Twin Rivers Unified School District (TRUSD) and the Sacramento Public Library. These initiatives aim to provide consistent, nutritious food for youth when school is out of session.

The Twin Rivers Unified School District will provide free breakfast and lunch to all children and teens ages 18 and younger. No application, paperwork, or proof of income is required to receive the meals , which are funded by the USDA and must be eaten on-site.

All TRUSD meal sites will be closed on June 19th and July 4th.
Sacramento Public Library “Lunch at the Library”
The Sacramento Public Library is also hosting its annual “Lunch at the Library” program, offering free lunches to youth 18 and under while school is out.

No registration is required for the library program, and drop-ins are welcome. Lunch must be consumed on-site. The library will also be closed and will not serve lunch on Juneteenth (June 19) and Independence Day (July 4).
