An email sent out today by the Rio Linda Little League indicates that the RLLL parade will be canceled for 2021, for the second year in a row due to COVID19 concerns.
Registration for the Spring 2021 Baseball and Softball Little League Season for locally hosted age divisions will take place online beginning today, January 22nd, and extend through March 5, 2021.
Divisions for older children which require travel to play games against other leagues are still under discussion and updates will be provided as information becomes available.
There will be NO in person registration, no late registration, and no refunds.
The communication states “At this time, there is no projection on when large group gatherings will be allowed, and as such, we cannot host an Opening Day Parade or Ceremony this season. We still need to work out the details around team selection and will announce those once we have them solidified and approved.”
