The Rio Linda/Elverta Community Planning Advisory Council will meet on Wednesday, November 26th at 7pm. The meeting will be held at the Rio Linda Depot Visitors’ Center, 6730 Front Street in Rio Linda.

Two items are on the agenda;

  1. The 415 Lilac Lane community plan amendment, rezone, tentative subdivision map and exception.
  2. The Century Palms/Brothers Property Development Mixed retail-office-industrial project.

The Lilac Lane proposal intends to place twenty single-family lots at the corner of Lilac Lane and Rio Linda Boulevard, across Lilac Lane from the Southern Baptist church.

The Century Palms proposal intends to build a mixed use shopping and industrial center on the vacant property behind Granite’s (Archway Frosty). The Brothers family also owns the Archway Auto Supply building, and have not announced any plans to renovate or sell that property which continues to be a blight on our community.
