Today it was announced by the Sac-Joaquin Section that due to poor air quality from the Camp fire, Friday’s scheduled Sac-Joaquin Section semifinal playoff football games have been postponed until next weekend.
This includes Rio Linda High School’s game versus Oakdale, which is now scheduled to be played on Friday, November 23rd.
The football section finals were originally set for Nov. 24, the NorCal games Nov. 30 and Dec. 1 and the state championship bowl games for Dec. 7–8. Each respective round will now be moved one week later.
Players will he kept updated on any practice schedule changes by the coaching staff.
