Solo Vehicle Fatal Collision On Q Street

On July 20, 2018, at approximately 3:15 A.M., the California Highway Patrol received reports of a solo vehicle traffic collision on “Q” street east of 16th street in the Rio Linda Area.

A 22 year old man was driving a 1996 Honda Odyssey minivan westbound on “Q” street when he left the roadway and collided with a tree. H

e was pronounced deceased on scene by Sacramento Metro Fire Department personnel.

The cause of this collision is under investigation. It is unknown if drugs or alcohol were a factor in this collision.
