RIO LINDA, Calif. – The Rio Linda High School sports teams are ready for another action-packed week! With away games throughout the week and a big home football game on Friday, there’s plenty of opportunity to show your support.
The week kicks off with Girls Golf heading to Woodland Christian on Tuesday for a 4 p.m. tee-off.
On Wednesday, the Flag Football team hits the road for a matchup against Christian Brothers, with the JV game starting at 6 p.m. and Varsity following at 7 p.m.
Thursday is a busy day for our athletes. The Flag Football team will play their second away game of the week against Antelope at 6 p.m. for JV and 7 p.m. for Varsity. Both the Girls Golf team and the Girls Volleyball team will be away at El Camino. Girls Golf tees off at 4 p.m., while Volleyball will have games for Frosh, JV, and Varsity at 4:30 p.m., 5:30 p.m., and 6:30 p.m., respectively.
The week’s main event is this Friday night’s football game! Our football team will be at home, ready to take on the Center Cougars at 5 p.m. for the JV game and 7 p.m. for the Varsity game. This is a must-see game, and we will honor the Junior Knights at this game, so come out and cheer on our Knights!
