Folks, grab your heavy coats and your stadium cushions. It’s mid-January here in Rio Linda, and while the mornings might be frosty, the competition is heating up significantly for our Knights. We are deep into the winter season now, where league standings start to take shape and every possession, goal, and takedown counts just a little bit more.
This week offers a full slate of action. We’ve got the soccer squads battling Dixon and El Camino, the wrestlers defending the home mat against Casa Roble, and Friday night hoops that promise to keep the gym rocking.
Here is the rundown of where you can catch our Knights in action this week, January 12th through January 17th.
Monday, January 12th
We kick off the week on the pitch against the Dixon Rams. The programs are splitting up, so you’ll have to choose your venue. The Lady Knights have the home-field advantage tonight.
