This Week’s Knight Time! (October 14th-19th)

Calling all Knight Nation! It’s going to be a busy week for Rio Linda High School athletics, so mark your calendars and get ready to cheer on our local stars!

Here’s the rundown:

Monday, Oct 14: The Flag Football team takes on Destiny Christian on the road for a 6 PM game. Let’s go get ’em, Knights!

Tuesday, Oct 15: Our Girls Volleyball team travels to Woodland for a tripleheader. Freshmen hit the court at 4:30 PM, followed by JV at 5:30 PM, and Varsity at 6:30 PM. Show your support, Woodland Knights!

Wednesday, Oct 16: Senior Night for Flag Football! Don’t miss the JV game at 5 PM and Varsity at 6 PM as they take on Dixon High School here at Rio Linda.

Thursday, Oct 17: Double Senior Night! The Girls Volleyball team celebrates their seniors during their home game against Dixon. Cheer them on at 4:30 PM (Freshmen), 5:30 PM (JV), and 6:30 PM (Varsity).

Also on Thursday, the Girls Golf team tees off against Dixon at Davis Muni at 3:30 PM. Best of luck, ladies!

Friday, Oct 18: It’s Knight in Pink night! The Football team takes on El Camino here at Rio Linda in a game you won’t want to miss. This is also a special reunion night celebrating the 2004 Section Champion team, 20 years later! JV kicks off at 5 PM, followed by Varsity at 7 PM.

Saturday, Oct 19: Get your running shoes on! The Cross Country team hosts the Rio Linda Invitational at Hayer Park starting at 9 AM. Come out and cheer on our local runners!
