Anyone Building an Ark?

The creeks in Rio Linda are pretty high!

Holy cow! What a series of storms we’ve had over the last couple of days. With rain forecast for at least the next three days, I hope the creeks continue to escort the rainfall downstream as efficiently as they have been.

The creeks are pretty high but still below thier banks, generally. The only place I saw some concern was at Rio Linda boulevard, where the creeks were close to spilling onto the roadway.

You can see the creek monitor data at the Sacramento County DWR page here. As of right now (5pm Sunday) the creeks are still on the rise. The Weather Underground forecast is here.

So, stay in and stay dry!

I went out and took some pictures at Hayer Park while there was a short break in the weather.
