Rio Linda Cow

Despite our place as a bedroom community for greater Sacramento, for me Rio Linda has always had a particular sense of place. There are people, places and things that one will see in Rio Linda or Elverta the you might be hard pressed to find anywhere else.

I’m still looking for examples, but here are a few of the pictures I’ve collected.

Ok, ugly paint scheme to begin with, and UGLY patches to cover graffiti. I'd almost rather see the grafiti.

  1. OMGosh…that is tooooo funny! Who’s leg is tattooed like that??? I would love to know! Priceless!!!

Love the shirt that Viv has on…only in RIO LINDA!!! LOL!!!

  2. We love living in Rio Linda (or Rural Linda as some folks call it)!
It has been 17 years now. My husband, doggies and horses like the rural feel and the “you do your thing, and I’ll do mine as long as you leave my animals alone” attitude.
I am a real estate broker here and will continue to serve my people who want to keep Rio LInda/Elverta rural (but continue to clean it up). RL/Elverta has so much potential…y’all just don’t know it!
