Westside Park Improvements Ribbon Cutting

We gathered at Westside Park this morning to see the official unveiling of the Rio Linda Elverta Recreation and Parks District’s latest improvements to the park.

The improvement is just west of the parking lot, between parking and the softball diamond, and includes a sun shelter structure, a new restroom structure, new planting and walkways, and a permanent cornhole court; just bring your own beanbags.

Many people were in attendance, including RLERPD administrator Mike Heller, Sacramento County Supervisor Sue Frost, RLERPD board members Lisa Morris, Becky McDaniel, Charlea Moore, Wayne Del Nero, and Robert Bastian.
