Roseville, CA – A long-awaited retail development is moving forward in west Roseville as Costco Wholesale Corp. has officially purchased the land for its new store. The warehouse giant’s acquisition of the 5200 Baseline Road property marks a significant step towards anchoring the larger Baseline Marketplace shopping center.
While Costco remains tight-lipped about the specifics, the city of Roseville has confirmed the project is in the pipeline. Plans include a 160,529-square-foot store complete with a fueling station and car wash. Construction is anticipated to begin this year, with a grand opening slated for 2025.
The Costco will be the centerpiece of the 745,300-square-foot Baseline Marketplace, which is expected to feature three anchor stores and three gas stations. Although no other tenants have been confirmed, the development promises to bring a variety of shopping and dining options to the area.
