The Rio Linda Elverta Recreation and Park District will be hosting a quaint ground breaking ceremony for the new skate park on Saturday, March 3rd at 10am.
Everyone is welcome to come and visit the site at the Community Center, review the proposed plan, ask staff questions and join together with each other for our young people.
The District estimates the start of construction to begin shortly thereafter in March. The new skate area at the Community Center will feature approximately 3000 sq ft of space – the concrete area, skate ramps, grind rails, park signage, picnic tables and various popular skate amenities for kids to enjoy.
